Marie H – Dental Assistant

I became involved with KCHC in 2008 with the opening of the new facility.  For the first 30 years of my career, I was employed as factory worker.  Like many in that profession, I found myself unemployed and decided to go back to school. I have always volunteered in my church, children’s school and community, so it was only natural for me to choose a profession that allowed me to help people. Being employed at KCHC allows me to help people from all walks of life.  I am able to help people who otherwise may not be able to seek dental care.  I enjoy making people feel comfortable and providing information to help them maintain good dental hygiene.  I hope that my interaction with them makes an impact in their lives.  It is rewarding to know that I am helping people.  Working here at KCHC, allows me to do just that.
