Brief description of your professional expertise/experience/reason for choosing your field:
Dentistry has been a perfect hybrid of everything I was looking for in a career. It requires a high level of knowledge, critical thinking, and social function. It takes creative, analytic, and intuitive components, and blends them with clinical skill and artistic abilities. It is detail-oriented, scientific, well-respected, and produces tangible results. While it may seem monotonous, every day, every tooth, every procedure, and every patient is different. It can be every bit as rewarding as it can be humbling, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Why did you choose to work for Kenosha Community Health Center, Inc.:
I started with KCHC in 2009, as a fresh graduate and a member of the National Health Service Corps. I was then, and continue to be, impressed with the level of care taking place within our doors. The facility is beautiful, the materials are excellent, the staff well-trained. This clinic is an asset to the community, insured and uninsured alike, regardless of income, age, and gender, social or economic status. As a clinician, it’s important to believe in what you do, and I know that every patient on my schedule here will get my absolute best, every day.
