What made you choose a healthcare career?
I’m a caregiver by nature and helping others improve their lives is what makes me happy. I started my dental career as a dental assistant. I was fortunate to continue my education to become a dental hygienist. I have worked in the dental field for over 30 years and am still passionate about taking care of my patients.
What types of care do you provide, and what sets your care apart?
I provide comprehensive treatment to all of my patients, including a thorough oral cancer screening, patient education, gentle but thorough cleanings, gum therapy as needed, sealants, fluoride application, and much more. I strive to maintain a positive and upbeat personality throughout my day to provide quality care while reducing the patient’s stress.
What’s your patient care philosophy?
I believe that everyone has a right to receive treatment to help them achieve their best oral health. My goal is to help my patients realize that a healthy mouth can positively affect their overall health and well-being. I also believe that having a confident and healthy smile does wonders for a person’s emotional well-being.
What can patients look forward to when they visit you?
They can expect to be treated like a member of my family. They will receive thorough, gentle, and compassionate care with their best interest at heart. With patience and good communication, we can work together to allow them to have the best dental experience possible.
