Join KCHC for Moments of Mindfulness Sessions

Often in our daily lives, we spend much of our time on “auto-pilot” and may not connect fully with the present moment. Increasing our connection to the present moment through mindfulness techniques can allow us to more deeply experience our lives. Mindfulness has proven to be effective in improving both our physical and mental health. This educational group will allow participants to learn mindfulness techniques to implement into their daily lives. The program will be free of charge and involve 4 sessions.

Goals of the sessions:

  • Learn about mindfulness and its foundations
  • Learn about meditation and intentional present-focus
  • Implement “mini-mindfulness” into daily routines
  • Identify ways in which mindfulness can improve our physical and mental health
