Mihaela PopaCHIEF DENTAL OFFICER - DOCTOR OF MEDICINE IN DENTISTRY
“Our philosophy is patients first! I believe in building lasting relationships with our patients and their families in a warm, comfortable environment. At KCHC, we work together with healthcare organizations and local partners to improve the health of our diverse community and expand care to those with limited access.”
“Through my work with Head Start over the last 25 years, I have seen the needs of the underserved of Southeastern Wisconsin. Being a part of the KCHC team, I have the opportunity to care for those of greatest need, daily.”
I chose to work for Kenosha Community Health Center in hopes of increasing the community’s access to affordable oral health care.I’m grateful to be able to give back to those in need and in turn improve patient’s overall health and wellbeing.
“I chose to work in a public health care setting, because I enjoy fulfilling the need of creating access to care for all people of all ages. It is a wonderful feeling to be a part of the team effort providing care to patients and their families in our community.”
“I enjoy interacting with and educating patients of all ages about their oral health. It’s exciting to see someone take a bit of knowledge and apply it to their everyday lives and improve their oral health.”
“In addition to working in private practice, I chose to work at KCHC because I like helping people who would not have access to health care without the services provided by our organization. Also, I like the opportunity to exchange ideas on a greater scale than in a solo practice; this allows me to provide better care to my patients.”
I believe the greatest rewards always come from serving others. Kenosha Community Health Center gives me the opportunity to serve and meet people from many different cultures and give customized care to each individual.
“I was born and raised in Kenosha and I’m very excited to work with my home community. I’m committed to education and influencing patients about proper home care, products, and services that lead to positive and healthier oral care. I have a sincere passion for Public health.”
“Having been born and raised in the Kenosha area, I feel privileged to give back to my community.”
