With KCHC since 2019
What areas do you specialize in:
Improvement of mental health through evidence-based treatment of stress, anxiety, and depression.
Brief description of your professional expertise/experience/reason for choosing your field:
I chose social work because I loved the variety of different job options that this field allows. I have been at KCHC as a Case Manager and am now moving into a clinical role as an Outpatient Mental Health Clinician. Being able to do so many different jobs within social work allows me to broaden my scope and learn about more resources and ways to help those in the community.
Why did you choose to work for Kenosha Community Health Center, Inc.?
I chose to work at KCHC because I appreciated the integrated health system they had in place. The idea that a patient could come to KCHC as a “one stop shop” for all of their medical, dental, and behavioral health needs was something new and different I have not experienced before. I also really appreciated KCHC’s mission to combat health disparities for the entire Kenosha Community.
