What made you choose a healthcare career?
I always knew that I would work in healthcare. Ever since I was 2 or 3 years old, I would walk around with my play stethoscope and medical bag saying “I am going to be a baby doctor.” I pursued the PA route because of the flexibility of the position, on-the-job training and ability to mold patient care into what I want it to be.
What types of care do you provide, and what sets your care apart?
I provide all-inclusive care that is more than just a physical exam, labs, and problems list. You are a whole being and should be treated as so.
What’s your patient care philosophy?
Medicine can be overwhelming and scary, which makes it much easier to avoid than face head on. I am here to help guide you through the medical world. However, you are in the driver’s seat. You choose where we start, stop, take a left, or take a right.
What can patients look forward to when they visit you?
Someone who is willing to sit down, listen, and take the time to make sure you feel heard and cared for.
