What made you choose a healthcare career?

Throughout my formative years growing up, I had exposure to dentistry and nursing.  I have been influenced by my father (General Dentist); my mother (Dental Assistant); and my sister (Pediatric ICU Charge Nurse). My main reason for choosing this field is to provide healthcare services for patients in need with the skills and education I have attended, continue to learn, and practice as a clinical leader with future professional licensing.

What do you find most rewarding about working in a Community Health Center setting?

Providing care to underserved patients in need and utilizing the healthcare and management skills I’ve learned from prior work experience and education.

    What is your leadership/management philosophy?

Servant leadership and developing employees and the practice to their full potential. My goal is to create an environment where staff may enjoy their work and optimize patient experience & outcomes.

What can patients look forward to when they visit your clinic site?

Patients can look forward to a collaborative team with multiple service lines of Dentistry, Medical, and Behavioral Health services at low or no cost depending on income. They can expect quality of care exceeding many other non-FQHC health systems they may have encountered in the past.
