What made you choose a healthcare career?
I have always enjoyed being of service to others. After completing a Dental Assisting Program in 1993, I decided to eventually pursue my degree in Dental Hygiene. I wanted to expand the ways in which I could provide services to those seeking dental care.

What types of care do you provide, and what sets your care apart?
I provide all aspects of dental hygiene care. I can help a patient maintain a state of good oral health with preventative care or help a patient with the management of a more compromised oral condition with non-surgical periodontal therapy. I strive to engage and educate each patient in their oral care process with what suits them best.

    What’s your patient care philosophy?
Every patient is an individual. We all have a mouth, but circumstances affecting oral care can vary greatly between people for many reasons. Listen to and hear each patient. Meet each person where they are at and provide the guidance needed to achieve their best possible oral health scenario. It is a team effort.

What can patients look forward to when they visit you?
Supportive care. I will do all I can to come along side each patient to reach the oral care goals needed. We will achieve those goals with determination, communication, and compassion. A little laughter has been known to happen, too.
